If you click “Search Diagnosis Code”, you get the following options:
By highlighting Diagnosis Code (as shown) and leaving the box empty and then left-clicking on the “Search” box, you get a list of all DMH approved DSM IV and ICD 9 codes, along with specific alpha-numeric code (Diagnosis Code column) and the accompanying text (Diagnosis Description column). If you already know a particular diagnosis code (e.g., 295.10) but cannot remember what it is, enter that code in the Diagnosis Code box and the resultant report will display the description. Conversely, if you already know the diagnosis (e.g., schizophrenia), enter the word “schizophrenia” into the “Diagnosis Description” box and the resultant report will display all codes that include the word “schizophrenia”.
