The actual Inmate IDs listed on Screen B are highlighted. This means that you can drilldown to get to additional data. To actually drilldown, click on the particular highlighted Inmate ID number in whom you are interested. In this instance, by drilling down, you can both view additional information (Detainee Basic Information, explained later), and you gain access to the CLIF form, enabling you to enter new data. It is important to remember that the only way to do data entry on the Data Link database is by drilling down on Inmate ID number in Screen B.
This agency are that was found on ROCS to have been served exclusively by the primary partner agency (and not by any additional DMH-funded agencies that might have worked with the client).
When you drilldown on the other agencies listed in Screen A, you are taken to individual level data on detainees that (a) were served exclusively by that agency, or (b) were served both by the primary partner agency as well as this other agency. You cannot drilldown on “Inmate ID” for these detainees who were served by community agencies other than your primary partner agency.
This section describes how and when to use the “Inmate ID” drilldown feature of Screen B. Use this report when you need more detailed information about a particular detainee, and when you have data which you are ready to enter for a particular detainee. Screen F shows the data that are displayed.
(2) Current Detainees
Detainees who were found on the crossmatch to have been served by the jail’s partner community agency in the past 2 years. The actual number of detainees will vary by county, but this number will normally be smaller than “Current Detainees by Agency” below.
(3) Current Detainees by Agency
Detainees who were found on the crossmatch to have been served by any DMH funded agency in the State of Illinois in the past 2 years. The actual number of detainees will vary by county, but this number will normally be larger than “Current Detainees” above.
